One of my all time favorite sayings is, "Fortune favors the bold." I love it because it drives the point home that whatever you do, you should do it with passion and vigor. Anything less will turn up less-than-stellar results. I also like the phrase, "You reap what you sow." This brings farming pictures to mind and the idea that hard work pays off.
Either phrase alone makes me want to jump up and start doing stuff, but together ... it's a whole new ball game!
